Tutti Music & Arts is hiring for the 2026–27 season. We teach music, dance and art in Little Neck, Queens, to students from age three through adult, in our own studios and recital hall.
We are looking for a Piano Instructor, a Violin / Viola Instructor and a Ballet Instructor. All three are part-time and in person.
Piano Instructor
We are looking for a trained pianist who teaches — someone who can take a five-year-old through a first scale and a high-schooler through audition repertoire, in the same afternoon.
The role
- Private piano instruction, beginner through advanced
- Students from age four through adult
- Weekdays, weekends, or both — we build the schedule around you
- Preparation for our recitals, NYSSMA, and ABRSM exams
- Competitive hourly rate, set by experience
- A steady student roster and our own recital hall
Required
- A degree in piano performance — or in music education with piano as the primary instrument
- Patience and structure with true beginners
- Dependable, punctual, and clear with parents
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
- Prior studio or classroom teaching experience
- Familiar with standard method books and exam syllabi
- Able to accompany, or to teach theory and group classes
Violin / Viola Instructor
We are looking for a trained string player who teaches — someone who can take a five-year-old through a first scale and a high-schooler through audition repertoire, in the same afternoon.
The role
- Private violin and viola instruction, beginner through advanced
- Students from age four through adult
- Weekdays, weekends, or both — we build the schedule around you
- Preparation for our recitals, NYSSMA, and ABRSM exams
- Competitive hourly rate, set by experience
- Coaching for our string ensembles, if you want it
- A steady student roster and our own recital hall
Required
- A degree in violin or viola performance — or in music education with either as the primary instrument
- Comfortable teaching both instruments, or willing to cross over
- Patience and structure with true beginners
- Dependable, punctual, and clear with parents
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
- Suzuki training, or experience teaching the repertoire
- Prior studio or classroom teaching experience
- Familiar with standard method books and exam syllabi
- Able to coach chamber groups, or to teach theory
Ballet Instructor
We are looking for a classically trained dancer who teaches — someone who can take a five-year-old through a first position and a pre-professional student through pointe work, in the same afternoon.
The role
- Ballet classes and private coaching, beginner through advanced
- Students from age three through adult
- Weekdays, weekends, or both — we build the schedule around you
- Barre, centre, and pointe at the levels you are trained to teach
- Choreography for our recitals and student showcases
- Competitive hourly rate, set by experience
- Our own studios and recital hall in Little Neck
Required
- Formal classical training — a degree in dance or equivalent company and studio experience
- Fluent in the standard vocabulary and exact about placement
- Patience and structure with true beginners
- Dependable, punctual, and clear with parents
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
- Trained in a graded syllabus — RAD, ABT, or Cecchetti
- Prior studio or classroom teaching experience
- Able to teach pointe, and to prepare audition variations
- Pre-ballet or creative movement for ages three to five
